Have you heard that Colorado is participating in #OptOutside on Black Friday? What a great way to say “NO” to too much stuff and enjoy the day with your family.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) and the Colorado Outdoor Recreation Industry Office have teamed up to offer free access to all 42 Colorado state parks and are using the hashtag #FreshAirFriday. The Colorado Parks and Wildlife has a great website so you can locate any of Colorado’s state parks that will be open. You can even search by activity so you’ll be able to participate in activities that you like to do. Park entrance fees will be waived, but specific activities such as fishing and camping will still require a valid license or permit. Boulder weather is forecasted to be sunny and high of 58 on Friday, so take advantage of Colorado sunshine and this free day!
Even if you enjoy participating in #BlackFriday, you could still get back in time to enjoy some fresh air with your family. Find a park by you today!
